What is a small group at Fervent Church?

Small groups are communities of 8-15 people who meet regularly in homes throughout Hutto, Round Rock, and Pflugerville to grow relationally with others and grow in their walk with the Lord. Groups include Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and authentic relationships.

When and where do small groups meet?

Small groups meet at various times throughout the week in homes across Hutto, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and surrounding areas. Each group sets its own schedule, typically meeting weekly or bi-weekly in the evenings.

Do I need to be a member of Fervent Church to join a small group?

No! Small groups are open to anyone interested in growing in their faith and building authentic community. Whether you're a regular attender, new to Fervent Church, or exploring faith for the first time, you're welcome to join a small group.

What happens at a typical small group meeting?

A typical small group meeting includes fellowship and catching up, prayer for one another, Bible study or discussion of Sunday's sermon, and sharing life together. Most groups last 1.5-2 hours and include snacks or light refreshments.

How do I find a small group that's right for me?

Contact us at connect@fervent.church or fill out our small group interest form. We'll help match you with a group based on your location, schedule, life stage, and interests. You can also visit the connect table on Sunday mornings.

Are there small groups for specific life stages?

Yes! We have small groups for various life stages including young adults, married couples, parents, men's groups, women's groups, and mixed groups. We'll help you find a group that fits your season of life.

Can I bring my kids to small group?

This varies by group. Some groups are adult-only while others welcome children. When we help you find a group, we'll make sure it fits your family's needs.

What if I can't commit to attending every week?

That's okay! We understand life gets busy. While consistent attendance helps build relationships, most groups are flexible and understand that you won't be able to make every meeting. Come when you can!

How long does a small group last?

Most small groups run in seasons (typically 8-12 weeks) with breaks between seasons. Some groups continue long-term as ongoing communities. You can join at the start of a new season or when a group has availability.

Can I start my own small group?

We have 2 seasons of community groups: Spring (March-May), and Fall (September-November)

These groups are a place to know others and be known. A place to share each other's burdens, a place to rejoice with one another in praise, and a place to look to God and His Word.

When we meet: Men meet Saturday mornings at 7:30am, Women meet Wednesdays evenings at 6:30pm
